As well as being a repository of book and author links, this site automatically attempts to find purchase links for books using ISBNs. If you visit https://buythebook.online/ followed by the ISBN-13 of a book (e.g. https://buythebook.online/9780571352227) it will attempt to find sites where that book is available for purchase. By default, these will be links to UK sites. Want to find US links? Use https://buythebook.online/us/ followed by the ISBN.

To make these automatic pages, it first checks with the Open Library (using their API) to try and establish the title and author of the book and to get a thumbnail image. If it can’t get an image there it tries ISBNdb. It then checks with a range of retailers to see if they have a page dedicated to the ISBN, and provides the links that it has found.
